Alex Silow has been an active litigation attorney for many years in Chester, Montgomery, Delaware, Berks, Lancaster and Philadelphia counties.  The concentration of his practice is criminal law and he also represents clients in injury claims and other trial matters.

He began his career as an Assistant District Attorney in Chester County where he handled all levels of criminal cases, including violent crimes, DUI, drug cases, and domestic violence and also handled cases in the Pennsylvania appeals courts.   His insight into how Pennsylvania’s criminal and court systems work and how prosecutors think is invaluable to successfully defending any criminal case as well as pursuing any claims on behalf of his clients.

 

Alex joined the criminal defense bar in 2005 and was quickly recognized as one of the top criminal trial attorneys in the Philadelphia Area by Main Line Today Magazine. As a criminal defense attorney, Alex has successfully defended cases including homicides and murders, violent crimes, drugs, domestic violence and also DUI cases as well traffic offenses. Alex is also highly experienced in the Appeals Courts.  He is a member of the Pennsylvania Trial Lawyers Association, the Pennsylvania Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers and the Chester County Bar Association and was admitted to practice as an attorney in the District of Columbia.

 

Alex comes from a family of attorneys and judges and always knew that being an attorney was his calling.  He graduated from West Chester University and then studied at and graduated with honors from Widener University School of Law. Alex, his wife and his family have lived in Chester County for almost 20 years.
